The Cropping Station Now Open!
We now have space open anytime we are open for cropping and get togethers with your friends! Call or check in to secure your time & space for only $2.00 per hour. You will get 1/2 of a 6' table and use of the Cricut machine and cartridges as well. Bring your own beverage and a friend! We will help you with your bag as it is upstairs.
Saturday, September 4th 2:00 – 3:30 pm Artist Trading Card Create & Swap If you currently create Artist Trading Cards (ATC’s) or want to get in on this popular way to create your own miniature art on a 2 ½ “ x 3 ½ “ card, come to the Create & Swap. We will be creating new cards, swapping cards and learning from each other as well. $3.00 Fee includes a goodie bag of “Found Objects” to use in your creating. Paints, inks, tools will also be available to create and learn.
Saturday, September 4th 4:00 – 6:00 pm: Altered Books Class & Altered Book Club Get Together! Class for Beginners & For All to Work on their Books!
Class Fee $15.00 for Beginners; $6.00 for those already working on their books. Beginner class includes all consumable materials including a selection of used books. Please bring basic tool kit – we will learn how to make an original altered book that you may complete on your own. You will be amazed at the beauty of your original work!
Thursday, September 9th 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm Football Pages It is Football season and soon you may have pictures to get in your latest album. Get 2 pages ready for those pictures! 3D embellishments and double matted backgrounds make these pages really stand out! Class Fee: $6.00
Friday, September 10th 6:00 pm – 12 Midnight: CROP, CROP, CROP!
If you have never been to a crop, sign up and you will be hooked on it! Bring whatever you are working on or want to start and join us for food, fun, goodie bags, door prizes and new friends. Sign up early as these fill up fast! $15.00 due at crop. We will be in our workshop space upstairs!
Saturday, September 11th 4:00 – 6:00 pm Class Alcohol Ink Techniques
Make embellishments & backgrounds/mattes using Alcohol Ink & Blending Solution. Learn different techniques for applying and using these interesting little bottles of ink. The results are beautiful! You can even make Christmas postcards or cards! The last class sold out so register quickly! Bring your basic tool kit and wear old clothes/apron. Class Fee $6.00
Thursday, September 16th 6:00 – 7:30 pm: Cut, Cut, Cuttlebug Tags for Journaling and Gifts! We will be using the Cuttlebug and embossing folders to create pretty tags that you can use to create a space in your albums for journaling or to use on your gifts this summer. Butterflies and birds, flowers and nature! Class fee $8.00
Saturday, September 18th 4:00 – 5:30 pm Distressed Mini Album Make a “Tim Holtz” styled mini album and learn distress ink techniques, layering of different inks, distressing papers and use grunge board elements. You will be able to apply these techniques in your scrapbooking, cardmaking and in many other projects. Class Fee: $15.00
Thursday, September 23rd 6:00 – 7:30 pm: Class – 5 Cards in a Flash for Fall! We will be making Fall themed cards – 2 for Birthdays, 1 Thank you, 1 Note Card, & 1 Sympathy.
Class Fee $8.00 includes all consumable materials. That is just $1.60 per card! Please bring basic tool kit – we will make 5 beautiful assorted cards w/envelopes for you to take home.
Saturday, September 25th 2:00 – 3:30 pm Halloween Cards Make 3 Cards to scare away your friends at Halloween! Beautiful new papers and embellishments make these special for your “batty” friends! Class Fee: $5.00
Saturday, September 25th 4:00 – 5:30 pm School Lunchbag Mini Album Create a Back to School themed album from lunchbags! Bring your kids school pictures, class list, tickets, or other found items and your basic tool kit and we will provide the lunchbags & all items needed for this cute, interactive and fun lunchbag mini album. Class Fee $15.00
Thursday, September 30th 6:00 – 7:30 pm Christmas Cards We will be making 3 different Christmas Cards that you can reproduce for your Christmas project this year! We will be using glimmer sprays, embellishments and more to make 3 differently styled cards. Class Fee: $5.o0
